Tim + Amber | Engaged

I took a break… a long break…. a much needed break. After shooting weddings back to back all summer long and trying to plan my own, I was tired. I had a few little meltdowns….my family may disagree with the “little” part but hey, I made it! After the wedding Michael and I had 4 days to live at home… at OUR HOUSE before we left for the honeymoon and it was the best decision ever.

I think the day after the wedding I took a 4 and a 1/2 hour nap!

I needed a break  from my job,  from the computer screen and from my lifestyle in general. Going to bed at 4am and getting up at 9 is not normal!! So I took all of October off and didn’t have my first session until this past

Wedding Wednesday

10-10-10 | Our Wedding Details

Where to begin?

I remember getting engaged and immediately people asked me what the colors were going to be… and the theme, and the venue and my dress. AH! Talk about overload! Wow! I wasn’t one of those girls that had been planning her wedding since she was 5. I had no idea what type of dress I wanted, what venue I wanted or what our colors were going to be (well I knew one of them:).  I was overwhelmed. As we started planning, I remember when I thought of Peacock! It was like the light bulb came on and the ideas started flowing. Without a theme, I was lost.  I had no direction whatsoever! Every cute vase I saw, I wanted to use it… but it doesn’t work that way. Luckily I had a theme

Ancient Corinth, Greece

Corinth honeymoon

I will talk more

about this later because it happened the most in Venice….. but I have trouble walking in pretty places.  I try to take pictures AS I’m walking and I end up tripping over small boulders and missing steps. I just want to say thank you to Michael for yelling “step!” and “people coming Katelyn!” in order to save me from huge embarrassment. So as you look through these images from the amazing Ancient city of Corinth, try to visualize Katelyn tripping over stones and almost running into other tourists that didn’t speak English…. it was quite a sight to see.  Anyway, Corinth was awesome. We were tired on this day because it was the last
