something else has taken over Wedding Wednesday! I was going to post something for WW but I just couldn’t wait to announce the “Sugar Shoot Workshop”!!!!! This is an amazing opportunity for photographers that is coming up in MARCH!! I’m so excited I could dance right here in my office! (it doesn’t help that I’ve been nibbling on the candy and have a TON of sugar in my system! This is such

an honor! First, I photographed Frank and Charity’s beautiful country wedding. Then I photographed Naomi (Charity’s sister) and her husband Joe in Downtown Fredericksburg and now I have photographed their first little one and man is he a cutie! I walked into the house and it was so quiet and warm. Little Jack was trying to fall asleep and I started looking for basket locations! I don’t shoot newborn sessions very often because most of my time is spent with engaged couples. However, this was a nice change of scenery. This process

took a long time. Finding a workflow that actually WORKED for me wasn’t an overnight concept. I tried numerous different techniques and I learned a ton a long the way. That’s why I encourage all of you photographers out there to try to find YOUR OWN organization style because this is one of the many areas in this industry where copying may not be in your best interest. I say this because I experienced this! I had a TON of photog friends that fell in love with ShootQ and started running every aspect of their business through it. Brides can book online, contracts are online, etc….. and I wanted that! I wanted it all!!! ha! So I purchased ShootQ and starting playing

type of personalities that just make you want to laugh… constantly. I met Anne Taylor when I was a sophomore in college. She was one of the “new freshmen” that basically lived at our house first semester and we fell in love with her. Then before we knew it, we were introduced to Elizabeth! It can be

a big adjustment moving to a new town, into a new house, a new church and basically a new life! However, Michael and I have been blessed with incredible families that have welcomed us in and we have quickly come to LOVE where we are! We love the church, we love the teenagers and we love their families. The Parr family is one of those families!
