that they were having a contest and I immediately wanted to make my blog post and join in… but I was sick…. and a video blog post would have been so embarrassing at the time because when I talked, I sounded like a man. So my sweet husband got in front of the camera and made my video for me. He’s wonderful. I was selected to be a part of J&M’s WPPI shootout and I have to give all of the credit to Michael. So last Tuesday morning at the crack of dawn… I got up and thought “Only for Justin and Mary would I be up at 6am and getting in the shower”… 6am is WAY too early for me. I don’t function well in the mornings

overwhelming. It just is. Even if you’re a people person… it’s a LOT! I’m definitely an extrovert…. I would talk to a TREE…. but at the end of the day at WPPI, I am SO ready to just lay in bed with my laptop and look at blogs (such a photographer….that’s what we do for “fun”).  At WPPI it can be hard to find specific people and I knew that if we didn’t have some type of meetup, the VA photographers would never find each other! There are some some VA photogs that I literally NEVER saw but I knew they were there (the MGM Grand is GINORMOUS!)! So Wednesday night we had a VA Photog WPPI dinner date at the Venetian!

listening to one of the most talented photographers in the industry and I’m just in awe. Jose Villa has absolutely mastered his “look”. I can see an image of his from a mile away and know that it is his! It’s amazing.  (and yes, I’m blogging Wedding Wednesday during a seminar…I’m a crazy girl) When it comes to my style and my “look”, I’m still developing it but I’m starting to really see what I want my images to look like.  I can look at a bride and groom and really SEE an image that I want.  This is really true with engagement sessions.  I’m inspired by who my couples are,

reminder for ya! Justin and Mary are speaking on Thursday….like THIS Thursday at WPPI and if you’re here, you need to make this a priority. Seriously.  You would be doing yourself a huge dis-service if you choose not to go. This amazing husband and wife team are so passionate about teaching, encouraging and empowering other photographers. They are simply wonderful.  This morning I spent a few hours with them at their shootout here in Vegas and I can’t wait to show you some images. They definitely challenged us. We all had the opportunity to work one on one and direct the couple and as much as I tried to refrain from squealing,
