The iphone

may or may not be my favorite apple product right now. I can’t tell you how much it helps me! I can check my bank accounts, credit cards, I can transfer $, scan in a prescription to Walgreens and update my calendar constantly and that’s just the beginning!!! It’s so awesome! I can hardly stand it! I’m sure as I continue to blog and continue to learn this new gadget, I will sharing more and more about its’ special powers! My FAVORITE app right now is Instagram! The bling.

You have to do it justice! Have you ever had a BEAUTIFUL ring to shoot and you just can’t get it to POP and SHINE like you want? Ummm…this girl has had her share of fuzzy ring shots and I know how frustrating that can be! I’m still not a pro at capturing the bling but I have found a few little tricks that have really helped me recently. I’m currently at WPPI and I hate that I can’t blog as regularly but don’t you worry…. I’ll be back in the swing of things soon! For now, enjoy some quick ring tips. When I first started shooting, I had a tiny little macro… I think it was a 50mm… I’m not really sure. All I know is that it was awful and that I was struggling to capture great ring shots!

I really can’t

believe it’s WPPI time already! I remember going last year and thinking “Oh my gosh…next year I’ll be coming to WPPI as a MARRIED WOMAN! Wow!”. Michael traveled to WPPI with me last year to meet up with Jasmine Star and have our engagements done in the DESERT. So cool!…. literally… it was snowing/sleeting/raining but we still managed to have some awesome images (that are now all over our house!). It was fun for Michael to get to see WPPI and experience Vegas… well, experience Vegas in a very conservative sense. We love the lights and the showy-ness (is that a word??) but we’re not really into going

It all started

on an older generation Mac Book Pro. My office went everywhere! Then I started this crazy business and I invested in an imac…. best decision ever. I can’t imagine culling, storing, editing, blogging, etc. on my laptop….even my new one! My imac was one of my smartest business decisions. However, once I got my first imac in college, that meant I had to have a desk…. and that’s when the “Office Evolution” started. My business and my dorm room were the same thing for almost 2 years. Once I upgraded my imac…. I had to find even more space! Talk about a cramped lifestyle! Thankfully I had a room to myself and I cannot thank my roommates enough for that!

There is nothing

worse than getting a bad case of “Procrastination” when you’re planning a wedding! There were some things about our wedding that I was on top of! …. For example, Michael proposed to me on a Monday Night and I emailed Jasmine Star on Tuesday morning. Actually…. I’m pretty sure I emailed her a year before I was engaged but that’s just embarrassing and I won’t tell that story. I had my priorities and finding Michael a tie wasn’t one of them. The reason I procrastinated shopping for a tie was because our suits were a strange brown color and I had NO IDEA what was going to match!
