Rejoicing.

That’s the perfect word to describe this wedding celebration.  I’m sitting here and I don’t know what to say. It’s not that I have nothing to share… the problem is I have SO much to share and I don’t know where to begin.  I really don’t.  I have so much to tell you about the wedding day and the details but I also need to explain how amazing this couple is and how much they mean to Michael and I.  I just don’t know how I’m going to fit it all in! I guess I’ll just have to do a Part I and Part II.  I really don’t LOVE doing a two part wedding post because it breaks up the flow of the wedding and I like to display my weddings as one cohesive piece. But you gotta do what you gotta do! Right?! Right.

This Wednesday

I’m editing…. ALL DAY LONG. And I’m really into it. I haven’t eaten lunch, I haven’t left my office (except to get a DMD) and I FORGOT to BLOG!! What?! Yea…. that really happened. I’m normally up and blogging first thing in the morning… or at least working on something that is blog related. Today I guess I’m such a little overly focused on getting this wedding DONE. However, it is Wedding Wednesday and I don’t want to leave you hanging…. so here is a little post about the “R” word….. RAIN.  No one… and I mean NO ONE wants to even mention the “R” word on their wedding day!

This idea

started in Vegas at WPPI. We had met Ali at the beginning of the week and we were able to spend a lot of time together. This trip was a crazy one for Jill because it was hard for her to focus on business stuff when she was in the middle of planning a WEDDING!  We were talking about her plans and her dress and their farm (you’ll hear about that on Thursday!) and we casually mentioned that we should do a bridal session…. just for fun! And then we were like “No, really…. lets do this!” And we put it on the calendar that moment. The crazy thing is that it HAPPENED! I drove up to the farm, Ali met us there

or not….this is my first official senior session with a guy! Guys just don’t care about their senior pictures and I totally understand that…. well, kinda. Girls look forward to this all throughout high school. I remember going for my senior portraits and taking like 6 outfits that I had been preparing for MONTHS. (I took senior pics VERY seriously)  The sad thing is, I look back at my senior portraits and they don’t show ME at all. They’re very posed and most of them were done inside a studio with “2006″ block letters spread out on the floor. Yea. Now there is nothing wrong with that! However….. it’s definitely not
