Quantico Marina | Virginia Photographer

There are

so many different landscapes in Virginia. We’ve got it ALL. Mountains, rivers, plains, swamps!, oceanfront, cities, valleys, etc.  Every time I’m in the mountains I think “Oh, I”m definitely a mountain kind of girl”. I would take the mountains over the beach any day. However, then I sessions like these that make me re-think my mountain decision. I love the water. There is just something so calm and peaceful about the water and going out on a boat… especially a sailboat! David and Melissa just recently welcomed a HUGE new toy into the family. Colleen’s

Matron of honor stepped up to the center of the dance floor with the microphone and explained that she has been close friends with Colleen ever since Colleen was her RA in college.  They kept in touch, were in the same sorority, as the years passed by, the closer they became. She explained that as she met Colleen for a dinner date every month, she noticed a change…. a good change. Colleen was happy, like she always was, but there was just something different about her. There are just some some things I want to share and the only time they can fit into the blog schedule is on WEDNESDAYS! So today’s post is about being a good wife. (See, I’d told you I would relate it somehow!) I’m trying. I actually went grocery shopping while Michael was away in Panama for a mission trip.

It’s one

thing to shoot a session for a fun, high school senior… and it’s another thing to shoot one with a girl who you ADORE. I love Margeaux. She’s a part of our youth group at Gayton and she has become a huge part of my life this past year. It started with one coffee date… and then that let to another and another.  Over the course of this past year, I’ve really gotten to know Margeaux over multiple slices of Starbucks’ pumpkin bread and Cookout milkshakes! Marge is incredible…. but like most high school girls… and really, most women in general, she doesn’t realize how amazing she is. She has a personality that literally lights up a whole room and when you’re around her….
