ever seen something that looks so old school and un-cool that you just decide to NOT give it a chance at ALL. You know what I mean…. like hole-in-wall restaurants or ghetto-fabulous boutiques? As I was

trying to think about what to write about these two… I couldn’t help but wonder who I’m closer to! Rachel is two years younger than me but as soon as she came to CNU, we became friends and started hanging out on a regular basis! We literally talked and shared EVERYTHING. From roommates, to our pasts, to our boyfriends/fiancés, to what our futures were going to look like…. we talked about it all. I love this girl. I love her heart, her sarcasm, her honesty and her boldness. She’s just an amazing girl. Then there’s Garrett. Welp, I don’t really know where to begin. Sometimes

people come into your life and are such a HUGE blessing… and you didn’t even know you were in need of a blessing!! This late winter and early spring has been an interesting one for Michael and I …. and in the midst of crazy schedules I decided to host a workshop! …. with a styled shoot! Umm… that’s a lot of work. At lunch one day with my friend Janie, she mentioned that I shouldn’t try to do this all on my own… I should get some help from a stylist friend of hers. She connected me with the fabulous Dana Fitzgerald and I felt immediate relief! This week

is what I like to call a “Heavy Load” for the blog. Everyday there is going to be a full shoot posted of some kind… mostly engagements…. and it’s A LOT for the blog to handle! So the right side of my brain is saying “No, post more! The light was pretty and the poses were fun!” but the left side of my brain is saying “Technically, there would be too many kilobytes to process if I posted everything I wanted to”. Unfortunately, after a discussion with my hosting company, I have to listen to my left brain this week. The last thing I have time for is an overloaded server! So enough nerd talk! I would see

them around campus… whether it was Einsteins (where half the student population LIVES and dines on milkshakes and bagel sandwiches) or around the Student Union for Intervarsity…. and they just looked HAPPY. There is no other way to describe them… just HAPPY. So when Sara and I started talking about their wedding and their engagement session, that’s what came to my mind. I just kept thinking about how HAPPY these two seemed and I knew that I had to capture that in their images in order for their portraits to display who THEY ARE. Matt and Sara are an incredible couple that I was able to get to know a little bit throughout my college years.
