This is one

of those posts that you may read and think “Oh, poor Katelyn, she didn’t know what  to blog today”.  Well, that’s actually not true. I have written on my blogging calendar “A whatever day”.  That basically means… “blog whatever I can think of because I’m about to shoot a double header and I don’t have time to blog”.  There. I’m being honest! I planned in advance for this to be a small post. Small but meaningful. Very meaningful.  I mean, how much better can it get? I’m providing you with a friday full of laughs.  These are little bits and pieces from the internet that either made me LOL or laugh so hard I cried. I like to call them “Facebook Funnies”.

Some ideas

of mine are just crazy. Like the time I booked a wedding in SC and then the a wedding the next day in VA…. yea, I did that.  Sometimes I have GRAND plans and visions for something and then a few weeks go by and I realize that my “idea” really wasn’t that amazing.  Oh! Like remember the “Design Book” idea?! I paid big bucks to have provide a way for my blog stalkers to save their “favorites” in different categorized folders! I thought I was a genius!…. And then PINTEREST was invented.  Ha! This world of photography AND technology is CHANGING… and it’s changing FAST.

Last week’s Wedding Wednesday post resulted in a ton of great questions and I’m excited to try to answer them all! I really didn’t how what the response would be like so thanks to those of you who participated! Some questions more related to more of the photography world but I’ll try  to answer those too! you’re thinking to yourself, “Didn’t Katelyn JUST blog about being a consistent blogger and she hasn’t blogged today?!”.  Yes, I’m a little behind today. Michael and I got home at 3:30am and my schedule is still a little thrown off. However, the good news is that even though this is a late blog post, it’s a GREAT one!! I can’t wait to share this beautiful destination wedding! Michael and I took two days and vacationed in St. Thomas and then spent two days in St. John preparing and then shooting a destination wedding at Caneel Bay Resort.  It was beautiful! I love destination weddings for obvious reasons…the beaches, the experience, the weather…. but I also love them because I have

Let’s be honest.

Blogging EVERY WEEKDAY is hard work. REALLY hard work! It takes time, creativity, spell checking (which I’m horrible at!) and consistency! It’s not something that just happens… I have to PLAN it out and MAKE it happen. Some days I roll out of bed and the LAST thing I want to do is write up a blog post. But I do it anyway. Why? Because CONSISTENCY matters. In my opinion, consistency makes it or breaks it in the blogging world! Now do I think that EVERYONE needs to blog EVERY day? No,….. but it is helpful.  The two top blogs that I check DAILY are Justin and Mary and Jasmine’s.  Why do I check them first EVERYDAY?
