The Workshop Experience

Fall 2012 | Aqua & Red Wedding Inspiration

The amount

of people I need to thank in this post is a little overwhelming! SO many people come together to make my workshops happen and every time we host them, I’m reminded that I could never do this on my own! I’m SO thankful for everyone who helped out. Vendors, sponsors, attendees, the caterer, the venue, my mother in law, Rebekah Hoyt, Jessica Beale, Michael, etc. Really, the list just goes on and on. I did a post a month or so ago with some behind the scenes images. Today’s post is showing off the styled shoot side of the Fall Workshop Experience and I couldn’t be more excited!! I honestly LOVE these images so much! Janie Medley from The Bride’s Cafe and Dana Fitzgerald (an incredible stylist!) joined forces once again and made this shoot come to life!! The Virginia Center for Architecture has never looked so BRIGHT!!

Janie and Dana’s design and collaboration was just amazing. Who would have thought that peaches and red and pinks and TEAL would flow together so seamlessly? There were so many vendors that shared their amazing products with us! Be sure to keep reading through the bottom of the post to see all of those credits!! Enjoy this bright and cheery post!! It almost makes me want spring to be here… but not until we have a few more snowstorms! …. I love snow! Fingers crossed that we’ll get some more this friday!!! Special thanks to Green Wedding Shoes for featuring this shoot last week!

Aren’t Janie’s florals amazing?!
I teach something called “The Posing Evolution”. You’ll notice that the models never move their feet during the next set of images. I’m all about using one location WELL! This will save you so much time on a wedding day!
How amazing is this?! The ladies over at The Sweet Spot do awesome work!! So glad they were a part of this shoot!!
She’s just beautiful!!!
Niccce! Can’t forget about the groom!
