1. VINE! Vine is a new app for iPhone users that allows you to take a bunch of mini clips and it automatically makes a little 6 second video! It’s like Instagram for videos! We’re loving it… especially for Bokeh videos:)

2. The Daniel bible study by Beth Moore! Two of my girlfriends from church and I are doing this study and it’s so nice to have a reality check every week! It’s an a amazing study!!

3. Sleep Machine! Michael and I use this EVERY night. It’s a lot easier than using a box fan! The white noise helps me not to hear him snore:) and it also keeps Bokeh from growling at every creak that the house makes!

So there you have it! Three little good things that make my life a little easier, a little more joyful and closer to God!! Happy Wednesday!

then that I LOVE and find really entertaining/helpful!  It’s been a WHILE since I’ve posted about some of our “Good Things” and so I thought the time was right for another installment.

Michael and I have dated since we were 15 and 17 years old. Needless to say, we’ve had plenty of time to try out fun date ideas. Even after Broadway plays and trips to museums, we have found that one of FAVORITE date nights is something that doesn’t involved spending ANY money! …. Our favorite thing to do is drive around and find MASSIVE homes!! It’s just fun! We’ve done this for YEARS.  As we’ve grown up and technology has improved, we have been able to take our sketchy stalker-ish date nights to a new level!! This is all thanks to the Trulia App!!!

Trulia is an App that allows you to find homes that are near you and for sale. So basically, Michael and I will drive around crazy neighborhoods with this App  and find MASSIVE homes and we can see inside photos of the inside of them as we drive past!! Don’t ask me why we love this so much… it’s just intriguing!! It’s SUPER fun to do when we’re in massive cities or California or NYC! The homes are ridiculous in those locations!! So if you’re a smart phone user and need one more App (I’m sure that’s JUST what you need)…. Trulia is a fun one!!!!  It’s definitely one of our favorites! So happy Monday and if you’re house hunting or just looking for something to pass the time on road trips, you can thank me later!

It’s a horrible name but it’s catchy and so I’m keeping it! And hey, there are some “inspirational” quotes thrown in there too! stop to care about the FRIENDS in your life…. then what exactly are you accomplishing? I thought about this a lot last week after I received a RANDOM package from Anthropology… I opened it and inside was a little “Pure and Good” candle (that matches my office perfectly!).  I searched and searched but there was no note. No “To” & “From”…. nothing.  Then I saw the invoice. At the very top of the page in tiny type, I saw the address.  Now, I’m not a creeper but I’ve sent a few things to Justin & Mary and I only have like 3 friends in CT!! So as soon as I read the address, I knew who this was from.  Justin and Mary just do stuff like this for no reason….. I can’t wrap my mind around it.  I have NOTHING to offer them… except a friendship and an encouraging blog comment here and there:)….they are the real deal. In the midst of CHAOS and shooting over 40+ weddings a year and speaking at every conference under the sun…. they have time to send me a candle… and not even take credit for it. The candle is so appropriate… it’s TEAL and perfect!!  My friends Justin and Mary have PURE hearts…and I’m so thankful for the example they set for our industry! If you don’t already follow them…. you should probably get on that!!

Speaking of things that are “Pure and Good”….the internet is filled with some nasty stuff… but every now and then I find something hilarious and CLEAN! So enjoy some really STUPID things from the internet that are just PURE and GOOD! Happy Friday!
