As technology

keeps improving, there are more and more ways to document LIFE as it’s happening. I remember being in high school and wanting one of those SMALL digital cameras that had just come out so that I could take AMAZING pictures whenever I wanted. Then, some of the flip-phones came out with CAMERAS! What?! A cell phone with a CAMERA?! That’s just incredible! Over the years, the iphone has because one of the most popular cell phones in the WORLD! I love mine. When the iPhone came to Verizon, Michael and I set our alarms for 2:30AM to be the first to order ours online. Yea, that’s dedication right there!!

Michael informed

me that other day that “You haven’t done a “Good Things” post is SO LONG”. Well, apparently Michael likes those posts… or maybe he just likes consistency (which is KEY to blogging well). Either way, I’m thankful for his input and I decided to blog about some “Good things” that have become great BRAND BOOSTERS! When I say “Brand Boosters”… I’m talking about things that people notice and say “Ohh that’s cool, is that your logo!?” or ”How did you find that in your shade of TEAL?!”. Did you know I have my own shade of TEAL? Everyone talks about TEAL like I own that color…. and I would like to think that I do.

Happy Friday!

If you’re a fellow east-coaster, you may be having a pretty DREARY end to your work week. It’s POURING here. Buckets and buckets of rain are falling from the sky and it’s miserable. It’s the type of day that makes me want to lay in bed and do nothing but watch a movie and relax. But instead of doing that… I had a great client meeting, ran errands, went out to lunch with my husband and made a Target run. Productive, wouldn’t you say? Oh Target. You steal so much of my money and yet I’m ok with it because I love what I come home with. I’m in the process of a mini-reorganization project in the office and Target had just what I needed.

Well, as you

read this post…I am in somewhere in Charleston, SC. Well, hopefully I’m in Charleston. My friend Steph and I are driving down tonight (Thursday night) and I will be shooting two sessions there this weekend. I’m really not the BEST with directions. Michael usually drives so I’m hoping we get there ok:). I’m excited! Steph and I casually said that we were going to take a road trip back in college but it never really happened….but it’s happening now! … in like an hour! I’m soooo not ready. I haven’t even packed! I’m so thankful she’s joining me since Michael can’t make this trip.

There are just some

things in life worth writing down and remembering. Somethings are good, some things are bad…. but most of the time, when I look back on the bad things that I write down… months from now, they seem funny to me. So I’m sharing some GOODTHINGS and a few things that make me cringe at the moment. If you have no clue what a “GOODTHINGS” post is about, I got the title from Martha (Stewart). I like to use her first name as if we are best friends. She has a “GOODTHINGS” article in all of her magazines that share fun, good little things in life. So I’ve been doing GOODTHINGS posts for 3 years
