idea a few months ago.  It consisted of helping photographers, hanging out with awesome people that love doing that I love to do and making new friends.  The idea of a “Coaching” session was born when I realized that I LOVE people and I love photography and this was a way to combine the two! So this past week I was able to host my first coaching session ever! …. and it was awesome! Coaching sessions, for those that missed this post, consist of two photographers coming together for 1/2 a day and just asking ANYTHING. into this crazy world of photography, I remember thinking that this career would be fun and exciting if I could actually get the hang if it!  I loved the idea of a home office, traveling, meeting new couples and having the ability to be CREATIVE with my work!! However, there is one aspect of this job that I didn’t consider and that was the fact that I was starting my business at the same time that a TON of my best friends were about to be engaged. For some reason, this never CLICKED with me.  I never thought “Oh if I could shoot a ton of FRIENDS weddings that would be a huge help for my business!

a had received a massive box from Jcrew or something! I was estatic! When my MarkIII arrived I could have hugged the UPS man but I refrained! I was excited but also somewhat nervous. Ya know when you take friends to a movie that you LOVED and you’re just HOPING they think it lives up to the rave review you given it? That’s what I felt like with this camera. I have talked it up, I’ve shared my excited with the internet AND my whole family… so now was the moment of truth…. was it amazing and was it a worthwhile investment?  Well, the overall answer to this questions issss… dun, dun, dun…… YES! And I’ll explain why in this post!

ago I received an email from UPS saying that a package had been delivered. I don’t know about you but whenever I know a package is waiting at home… I get anxious! It’s not even like this was a surprise! I knew exactly what this package was! It was from Leather Craftsmen!! These packages are always fun because there is nothing quite like seeing you finished work in album form! Albums are like the finishing touch that wrap up all of my hard work and so I LOVE when they come in! This round was Colleen and John’s wedding album and Hunter and Becca’s engagement album! They turned out wonderfully!!! So since I’m in the “album mood”, I thought it may be nice
