There’s

a saying that Michael and I learned back in leadership training in high school that states that the only things that will set us apart from other people as the years go on are 1. The places you go 2. The people you meet and 2. The books you’ve read. As at 15 year old, this didn’t make much sense but as I have grown up, it is beginning to make more sense. Not only does my business take me different places, it’s allowing AMAZING people to come into my life. My clients, my coaching gals, my mentors in the industry… the list goes on and on…. and I’m grateful. I’m so thankful for these people who believe in not only MY business but who believe in their businesses as well.

Connect Retreat

Instagram Recap!

It all

started with a bike ride. During the amazing Pursuit 31 Women’s conference last fall, Jody Gray and I went on a bike ride with a few others around the property. We stopped at a little church for a breather and started chatting about how amazing Winshape Retreat center was. The topic of doing something for “Couples” came up and while we both thought it sounded like a great idea, that was the end of our dreaming. sessions have been a HUGE part of this spring for us. We are so excited to have these amazing photographers come into our home and help them grow their businesses! …. But let me tell you, the more people we have come into our baby house and climb the stairs to my little office with sketchy air conditioning, the more excited I get about offering coaching sessions in the NEW house!! woopwoop! My current office has worked GREAT…. but we’re getting pumped about the move!! All of my coaching gals are such great sports.

I never

considered myself to be OCD about anything. Sure, I’m picky about decorating and a few other things but for the most part, I’m not really all that intrigued by the small details of things. For instance, if I cleaned the bathroom and there was a spot left on the mirror, it wouldn’t phase me. However, a few days ago, as I was updating Facebook albums on the business page, I caught myself doing something VERY strange…. and VERY OCD. I found myself ARRANGING the images in the albums so that they “flowed” perfectly together.

Atlanta Meetup

& Living Like Gypsies

Gypsies…

that’s what we feel like!! Straight up gypsies! We’ve been staying at a different hotel the last three nights, living out of our rental car’s trunk and I even got ready in Target’s “Family Style” bathroom this evening! I locked the door and made it my own personal bathroom since we didn’t have time to check into our hotel before I spoke tonight. I changed, did my makeup and then plugged my curling iron in. The SCARY thing is that I placed the curling iron in the sink and while it heated up, I leaned forward to put on my mascara
