You’re probably thinking… “Aw, poor Katelyn, she has nothing better to blog about than carbonated water and chapstick?!”. Ha! Well, that’s exactly not true. I’m actually really excited about this post and I have wanted to share some of my good finds for a while! Have you ever found a product and loved it so much that you had to share it with a friend?! My sister and I do that all the time with beauty products! Well here are 4 products that I have come to LOVE recently!! I can’t take any credit finding these items on my own! Now I can’t take credit for finding any of these items!

I learned about these products from my sister and my friends Jill and Emily! So let me explain why each product is AWESOME!

1. PERRIER LIME SLIMCANS: I’ve been cutting back on Soda…. like really cutting back. If I want to treat myself, instead of having a of having a half pound of cheesecake, I’ll have a diet coke. I miss it that much! But Perrier Lime in the Slimcans somewhat reduces my longing for that carbonated poison! I’ll admit, it’s not a lovely taste… but it’s not awful and I’m growing to love it more and more. The fun part is that it’s just water with carbonation and it doesn’t have aspartame in it!! If you’re trying to kick a soda habit, you’ll either love this or you’ll absolutely hate it! haha I’m leaning more on the “loving it” side thanks to Jill!! She introduced me to these little guys last weekend!

2. MAC LONGWEAR CONCEALER: Jill also told me about Mac Longwear Concealer. I had been using a crappy concealer for years. It was just awful. I knew I wanted something different that looked more natural and this was the perfect switch! I love this stuff! I’m just sad it’s so expensive. :( To me, it’s worth the investment and I have noticed a huge difference in how my concealer holds up!

3. BURTS BEES TINTED LIP BALM: Anyone not a fan of lipstick or sticky gloss?? You will LOVE this! It’s tinted chapstick and it’s awesome! It’s like wearing lipstick only not as intense! My sister introduced me to this and I’m loving it!! They come in all different shades and you can find them at Target, Walmart, CVS, etc.

4. BUNCHOFARMERS STAIN REMOVER STICK: After a recent workshop, I was cleaning up our bedroom and bathroom (where the models get ready) and I noticed that there was a little whoopsie on the bench at the end of our bed. It’s totally my fault because I didn’t cover anything but the carpet! So I called Emily and asked what she recommended I should use to get red lipstick out of fabric and she stopped by with this STICK! It’s magical!!! It worked instantly and it’s all natural! I have no idea how it pulled that deep red from the bench but it did! You can’t even tell!! Amazing!

xoxo, Katelyn

Try La Croix water! It’s carbonated water that comes in like 10 different flavors – i don’t drink soda, and I’ve found it to be a great alternative.

Great suggestion on the perrier soda! It’s hard to quit an addiction like soda when you dont have something to help you ween off it. I’ll have to give it a go!

I’ve been loving the Burt’s Bees Chapstick, SO GOOD!

Katelyn, you should definitely try La Croix! I love all of them, and I actually think it tastes 10x better than any other type of carbonated water. They come in TONS of flavors. My personal favorite is grapefruit. Congrats on quitting sodas.

Katelyn, have you tried xs energy drinks? They are absolutely delicious, and they taste like all your favorite soda flavors – except they are healthy for you (unlike roads or red bull). They’re energized with b vitamins and sweetened with natural sweeteners (no chemicals or aspartame!) if you’re missing that similar taste to sodas, you should definitely give them a try. :) here’s where you can order them:

aaaaand as a bonus, if they’re not your fave, you can return them in 180 days for a full refund (yes, that IS 6 months) amazing. :)

With kids I am definitely going to definitely get some “Bunchoffarmers Stain Remover”! I have stopped drinking soda for years now and what worked for me is making my own drink which just consists of water or carbonated water, fresh squeezed lemon and a packet of stevia, It is so good! If you want a different taste you can get different flavors of stevia that comes in a liquid with a dropper and it comes in a root beer and a cola flavor…that might be good in carbonated water :) Here is the link to the website with all the flavors and look on the menu bar on top, they even have some signature drink recipes you can try.

I HEART Any and ALL MAC products!! Thanks for the share!

Love these! Just seeing that perrier made me crave one!

Katelyn you should try Izze esque! They sell them at fresh market and whole foods. They’re like regular izze (fruit juices and sparkling water) but izze esque has less juice and is only 50 cal. Its my favorite treat!!! So good. Way better than la croix or any of the other flavored sparkling waters ive tried:)

Thanks so much for sharing! I love seeing what kind of things people use…and hooray for you *mostly* giving up on tee soda. It really is awful for you. If you get that you really like seltzer, you can buy a sodastream and make your own seltzer (it’s cheaper than buying bottles). SodaStream also has flavored drops you can put in the seltzer, if you dnon’t like seltzer plain. We love it!

I love the Burt’s bees! I also agree with Becca, try to La Croix carbonated water. It takes some getting used to but definitely helps curb those cravings! :)

I love Perrier, and its Italian cousin San Pelligrino. But, they are so expensive. If you want the same thing for half the cost try Ozarka (or whatever version of Ozarka is in your area, could be Deer Park). Target has raspberry lime, lemon, mandarin orange, lime, and plain flavors. Sparkling water is the best alternative to soda, and it counts as water. More people should drink it. And guess what, Nestle produces the Ozarka/Deer Park waters as well as Perrier and San Pelligrino, so it’s practically the same thing, just made here instead of Europe.

Another vote for La Croix! I also like Canada Dry Cherry Pomeg flavor!

That Burts Bees lip balm is INCREDIBLE! I’m not a fan of the intense color of lipstick and I just like the feeling of burts and this has both!! That stain stick sounds amazing!
