Our Little “Constant”

  • Bokeh Boy

Something I’ve realized recently in my life is how thankful I am for the “constants”. You know, the things that just never change. Most of the time, when I think of the “constants” in my life, I’m referring to PEOPLE…. and one little Bichpoo. Bokeh is definitely one of our constants. When he’s around, it just feels like HOME. Maybe that’s because he follows us around the house like a little shadow or because he lays right up against us at bedtime! I don’t know what it is, but I love it! I love having him to come home to!

In the next 8 weeks, we’re going to be gone A LOT. Lots of trips, lots of weddings, lots of conferences. Come November 1st, we’re going to be missing this guy like crazy! Everybody needs something or someone that is just always there when you come home. For us, that looks like a little apricot colored bichpoo… and our parents, siblings, and best friends.

If you’re in a season that’s getting crazy, don’t forget your constants. They’re going to be there when you get home, no matter how long you’re gone or how far you travel or how crazy life gets! Maybe today you should just send some of your “constants” some love!! For us, that looks like some quality, late night snuggle time with this guy! :):) What a cutie!!!!

There is nothing that warms my heart more than being welcomed home by my furbaby. Having your constant is a perfect way to remind yourself of your blessings – I know it does that for me!

Aw, this is so sweet. I love that he sleeps with you guys, haha. I won’t let Harley do it. I want Randy all to myself.

We know what you mean about the constants in your life. Our little miniature Dachshund Susie, is our one really true constant in our life. We have our family and we have our friends, but Susie is like the anchor in our lives that keeps us smiling. No matter how long we are gone during the day, she is the smiling, wriggling little 9 pounds of love that welcomes us back. She has been with us for 15 plus years, ever since she was 12 weeks old and we love her so very much. If you go onto my blog – blog.dragonridgephotography.com – you can see a photo of her. I have just begun to tell her story for many friends – hers and ours – that have asked me to do this. Kisses to Bokeh and hugs to you and Michael. Looking forward to our second coaching session in December! Didi

Aww, so sweet and bokeh is so cute! He reminds me so much of our bichpoo (actually you guys inspired us to get one!:)).. Polly is our little sweetie and we miss her so so much when we’re not with her! How do you keep bokeh’s fur looking so perfect?
