The Best of 2016

  • Weddings & Engagements

This post has been in the works for two weeks now. I have to admit that the last three weeks haven’t been what we had hoped. Not only am I eight months pregnant, I’m also learning how to type without my right index finger, because I have some crazy medical stuff going on! However! I’m learning how to get stuff done despite my slower typing, and I FINALLY get to share my favorite images of 2016!! This has been an amazing year. It was a special year for us because starting with the last wedding in May I was pregnant for the rest of the entire shooting season!

Behind the Scenes 2016

  • Our Real Life

Some of you may have heard through Instagram or Insta-stories that I’ve had some very interesting medical issues come up recently! This past Saturday I woke up with excruciating pain in my right hand, and I had an MRI this week that will hopefully tell us what’s going on! So this entire blog post is being written through talk-to-text on my phone! It’s a lot faster to say a blog post into my phone then to type it with one hand!

Why We’ve Been MIA

Out of four blood tests, two were too high and so that puts me in the category of having Gestational Diabetes. I’d be lying if I said that I handled this well. In the midst of packing up our life and trying to finish up a house I wasn’t prepared for something else to worry about. I had several meltdowns and part of that was because we didn’t get a lot of info when we first found out. We basically got the call that I didn’t pass and I needed to start perinatal (high risk) appointments. That’s it.
