been blown away with all of the support and response to The Collection that was launched a few weeks ago! I still can’t believe it’s LIVE! It’s definitely a learning experience for us! We’re so excited to fill this online shop with a ton of resources for photographers and small business owners! The most surprising aspect of the launch was seeing the explosion of mini-guides!! These are 5 page PDF’s full of educational content on one “mini” subject! I LOVED the idea of these mini-guides and I was hoping that others would love it too! I was right!!

once asked, “How do you get your clients to LAUGH?!”. This is a great question because I often forget that this doesn’t come naturally to everyone. Some newer photographers are nervous when they shoot and so being “funny” and “engaging” with their clients doesn’t come naturally at first. I think there are several variants that come into play when it comes to photographers photographing GENUINE laughs. came home from some trip… I don’t even remember which trip it was…. but we were welcomed by an unexpected package at the front door. Like usual, Michael went through the mail… that’s like “his thing” to do every time we come home. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten the mail out of the mailbox!! Anyway, he brought the package in and opened it. He yelled from the kitchen “Whoa! Katelyn come look at this!!”. Michael’s super talented cousin took a picture of us and Bokeh from the blog and PAINTED IT!!!! How awesome is that?!
