to believe that our trip is only half way done. We arrived in Vegas last night and we’re gearing up for a great day of coaching today! This is when I’m realizing just how thankful I am that I’m not by myself. Having Michael with me makes everything 100x easier and I can’t help but remember what it used to be like. There were two years where Michael flew out to Vegas for WPPI for literally 48 hours because he had a full time job and were constantly battling to see each other and keep this business moving forward. I’m so grateful that we’re officially a team these days!! So! How was UNITED you ask? Well let me tell you!
are moments when all of the pieces just fall together…. perfectly. This past Friday was one of those moments. Matt and Samantha are getting married this spring but between Sam’s intense class schedule and Matt’s military schedule, scheduling an engagement with their east coast wedding photographer proved to be quite a challenge!! Sam is in VA and Matt is stationed in San Diego and they are pros at the long distance relationship thing. As Sam and I were emailing
I had a different post on the “blogging calendar” for today. For some, it may have been more exciting than what I’m about to share but I know deep down that this is more important. I mean, if I CHANGE the blogging calendar, you KNOW it’s for a good reason because that doesn’t happen often! :) So Michael and I are in Santa Barbara, CA for the UNITED conference and it’s just amazing. Amazing people, amazing food, amazing views, amazing classes… but what is TRULY amazing to me is how God uses relationships and connections to change people’s lives.
this is fun!!! WPPI is going to be a blast but events like this make us even MORE excited to be in Vegas!!! Justin and Mary are at it again. These two. They are just amazing at finding new ways to reach out…. especially to the newer population of photographers!! This year at WPPI, they are hosting a “Freshman Soiree” but it isn’t JUST a meet and greet, it’s an opportunity for everyone attending to be a part of something much much larger than themselves and that’s awesome!
a photographer and you’re leveraging Facebook as one of your main marketing tools, that’s AWESOME! Keep it up!! However, as photographers, our IMAGES are crucial to pushing our page forward. A few years ago, Facebook limited the file size of the images that we posted. They were all sized to about 750 pixels wide no matter how large the file was. Now, however, that has all changed. Images can be HUGE and high resolution on Facebook and it’s awesome!!! So if you’re a photographer, we need to make sure your images are being viewed in the absolute BEST format possible!!
