David + Sally | Engaged

  • Georgetown Canal & Waterfront Engagement Pictures

You know when you have a feeling that you’re going to love someone after emailing with them a few times? That is exactly how I felt about Sally. Ever since her first email, I just loved her and I have been looking forward to meeting her. We pulled into Georgetown and it started raining. My heart sank and I hoped for a break. David and Sally showed up and as soon as we started walking towards the canal, the sprinkles stopped and they didn’t return!

My Thought Process | Bride Getting Into Her Dress

  • Ask Anything

Sometimes I wonder if there is anything left to teach after hosting workshops, coaching and online resources for over 4 years now. Are there really MORE areas of the wedding day that photographers need help with? The answer is YES. I could break down the wedding day piece by piece and really never run out of advice to share! Over the years I have established patterns in the way that I photograph wedding days. It used to be that I only held myself accountable to getting AWESOME portraits at every wedding.

22nd birthday corey

Happy Birthday Corey

  • 22 Looks Good On You!

I BARELY remember Momma and Daddy telling us that there was going to be a new baby in our family. The only thing I remember was that they told us on their bed one morning in our old house beside the church. I wish I remembered more but I was only 6 years old when you were born!! I was old enough to feel like I needed to look out for you but not quite old enough to remember all the details! However, I do remember a few fun things about being your big sister in the early years and so on your 22nd birthday, I’m going to try to list out 22 of my favorite memories/things I love about you! :
