Wow! What a WEEK this has been. We have been gone for since Wednesday. We flew to Arizona and we had a BLAST hanging out with some of our dear friends (more on that soon! ….. Ps. I got attacked by a cactus, NBD. At least it will make for a great blog post:) Now we’re at WPPI and it’s CRAZY busy!! Our scheduled meet-ups and personal meetings for today make me go cross eyed but it is a lot of fun to be here!! And you know what else is AWESOME?! I’m DONE with my platform talk!!!!! AHHH!!!!

Have you ever heard that phrase, “the best years of your life.”? Most people are referring to their college years and that would definitely be the case for us! Our time at Christopher Newport University isa season of life that we will cherish and tell our kids about because it played such a huge role in who we are today. The friends we made, the lessons we learned and the experiences we had were what made it the best years of our life!

This is a weird post to write. You’re probably already thinking “That title makes absolutely no sense… I’m going to stop reading”… DON’T STOP READING. This post shares some of the most valuable advice we were ever given in regards to our finances. I have always had this crazy idea that investing and “wealth management” was only for the rich. Surely you don’t meet with a financial planner without having any money right? Wrong. My idea of financial planning was so warped.
