we were in Bermuda, the amazing ladies at Southern Weddings did such a sweet post and interview on us and our home!! We absolutely love Southern Weddings… not just because of the gorgeous inspiration they provide but because of what they stand for. It’s funny to say this…. but I have never truly gotten a REAL paycheck. Sure, I had a high school part time job (Beside’s “Katelyn’s Kraft’s”) but when you’re getting a $250 paycheck… it’s not the same as a REAL paycheck. I’m talking about a “big girl” paycheck.. the kind that had taxes and social security taken out, can pay a majority of your bills and is the same amount every two weeks. Back Deck Makeover

it before… but I have the most amazing family. Today I’m thanking my daddy and my little brother for being just plain AWESOME. Three weeks ago we left for a wedding in DC and while we were gone, Daddy and Corey were at our house giving our little deck a makeover! You see, in true Michael and Katelyn fashion, we tried to coat our deck in faux “Trex” paint that would make it feel like real Trex! Well, that didn’t go so well. Only a few weeks after we coated the deck with this special “goo”… it started to peel up! What a MESS!
