2013 Fall Retreat

  • My Weekend Wrap-Up

all of these “Weekend Wrap Up’s” and Mash-up Monday posts and I always think to myself “I wanna do a weekend recap one day!!”… And then I realize, “Oh wait, I already do, they are called wedding posts”. It’s true…. if I was to blog and recap my weekends the past 6 months it would be wedding after wedding after wedding… well not this weekend people!!!! This weekend Michael and I spent our time a little differently and I’m excited to share it with you! This weekend we were chaperone’s for our Youth Group’s annual fall retreat.

Downtown Richmond Senior Portraits

  • Meet Hunter

have to preface these posts with “I’m a not a senior portrait photographer”. I wish I could be because they are so much fun!! However, because of our wedding workload, becoming a portrait photographer isn’t really an option in this season of life. However, I do offer a few portrait sessions to our friends from church who are graduating and moving on to the next season of life! This past Wednesday, it was Hunter’s turn! Hunter has always been one of the sweetest guys in the whole youth group.

Styled Shoot | September 2013 Workshop Experience

  • Rose Gold Inspiration

were building our house, we were really picky about our garage doors. This wasn’t because I was a crazy, first time home builder, it was because those garage doors were going to act as a workshop backdrop. Ha! You should have seen the look on our construction managers face when I said “We need the european style doors for photo shoots”. I’m sure that was a first!! Luckily we got the barn-like, european doors and they work perfectly as a clean backdrop for our styled shoot! Our neighbors probably think we’re crazy but that’s ok!!
