A Rome, Georgia Engagement Shoot

  • Brady + Haley | Engaged

when couples put their personalities into their wedding planning! It makes our job more interesting and I feel like people FEEL more in their images because they are showing more of who they are! For example, when Haley and I were emailing about their engagement shoot, she mentioned that she and her fiance, Brady were Chef’s and they wanted to wear their Chef Whites for a few shots. PERFECT! These pictures are at the bottom of the post because I saved the best for last! :) Of course I learned something… many things…

A Stevenson Ridge Wedding | Fredericksburg, VA

  • Patrick + Anna Maria

They say you can tell a lot about a person by their friends. The more couples I meet and have the privilege of working with, the more I find this to be true. Pat and Anna were surrounded by incredible friends on Saturday and they were from ALL over the country. Awesome right?! It says a lot to have SO many people care about you so deeply that they will stop life for a long weekend, fly to another state and then dance the night away with you because you mean the world to them! As we were leaving, one of Anna’s bridesmaids came up to us in tears and thanked us for capturing her best friend’s special day so well. Those are the kinds of conversations we cherish and that give us motivation to finish out this season with a bang!! I just LOVE awesome bridal parties and awesome couples for that matter!!

Recap

  • The P31 Conference 2013

This post is late because I’m tired. Actually, exhausted would be a better word to describe how I’m feeling. We shot two weddings last weekend back to back and then I left the next morning for the P31 conference, which was amazing! Then I flew home Friday and we just returned home from shooting another double header this weekend. Needless to say, the busiest season is in full force and I need a NAP! However, the timing was perfect because we were able to meet up with our sweet friends Buddy and Jill last night after the wedding for pizza and the last quarter of the Redskins game.
