A Georgetown Engagement

  • Nik + Lindy | Engaged

met them on the busy streets of Georgetown last Friday and because we were early, we sat down and got to know one another a little bit! After just chatting with Nik and Lindy for a few minutes, I knew I loved them! We share a similar love story, mutual friends AND Nik is a Diet Mountain Dew fan. That’s always a plus! :) When I asked them about how long they have been dating, they laughed and just said “A LONG time”. They have us beat by a few years! Riverside on the Potomac Wedding

  • Cliff + Laurie

Rain happens. It’s just one of those things that you can’t avoid and when it happens to show up on your wedding day, you just have to roll with it! Cliff and Laurie are so laid back that the rain on their wedding couldn’t have stolen their joy and excitement! If anything, they had a more intimate, personal ceremony because of the drizzle! We moved their ceremony to the barn where their amazing reception was located upstairs. Guests stood around the Chuppah as Cliff and Laurie promised to be kind, loving and to always be each other’s best friend. They also vowed to keep their home a happy, colorful and joyful place that is always filled with great music…. I loved that part. As we braved the rain for a few portraits in the field, I thanked Laurie for being awesome!

It has been a busy BUSY month when I’m blogging Coaching a MONTH late! WHAT?! That never happens!! These 4 women all spent time with us in August and we absolutely LOVED having them!! I feel like they were just walking into our home and starting their coaching session but in reality, it was a month ago! So needless to say, I need to share some of their head shots! Tamara, Tara, Sam and Ashley are all doing amazing things in their businesses and I feel so honored that I was able to help them grow and find steps to move forward!
