A Rock Creek DC Engagement

  • Cliff + Laurie | Engaged

met on the Metro. She was reading a business book that he recognized and so Cliff started a conversation that day with the woman he was destined to spend the rest of his life with! Cliff and Laurie live outside of the heart of DC in an area called Mount Pleasant. That name couldn’t be more accurate. After driving through the craziness of the city, it was so refreshing to come to this quaint neighborhood full of adorable row houses and a large park. Cliff and Laurie met me at the park near their home last Wednesday and we got to know one another as I shot their engagement session.

A Mini Posing Workshop

  • Workshop : Vegas Edition

going to think I’ve totally lost it when you see what I’m posting today! I’m blogging my mini Posing workshop from WPPI…. you know, the trip that we took back in MARCH! Yes, I’m finally blogging these images! If you know me and follow my blog, you know that I don’t normally have a problem with getting images posted quickly. I’m a consistent blogger and I keep up with my edits well. This is definitely an exception! I guess moving and packing and building a house really threw me off early this spring! While we were in Vegas attending WPPI, I hosted a mini Workshop Experience. It was only two hours of posing instructions but it was a TON of fun!

Growing a business can consume your life if you’re not careful! Michael and I, in my opinion, do a good job of not discussing “work” 24/7. That’s because WORK isn’t our LIFE… we have a life outside of our business and outside of the industry and that really helps us keep perspective. However, there are seasons that come and go when I feel like I just don’t have time off. During this past weekend and early this week, I felt this way.
