  • The P31 Conference 2013

This post is late because I’m tired. Actually, exhausted would be a better word to describe how I’m feeling. We shot two weddings last weekend back to back and then I left the next morning for the P31 conference, which was amazing! Then I flew home Friday and we just returned home from shooting another double header this weekend. Needless to say, the busiest season is in full force and I need a NAP! However, the timing was perfect because we were able to meet up with our sweet friends Buddy and Jill last night after the wedding for pizza and the last quarter of the Redskins game.

Cupcakes, Roses and why I love my Husband

  • 3 Years

3 years ago yesterday, I was getting ready for the most exciting day of my life. Makeup, hairdos, centerpieces and dresses filled my parent’s house. It was an amazing 73 degrees and the excitement was contagious. We had waited for this day for 8 years… 8 LONG years and when it finally arrived, it seemed surreal!! Everything we had spent over a year planning was coming to life in the backyard. My momma’s flowerbeds looked better than ever before, Daddy had just mowed the field and put up wedding signs and dozens of other friends and family were hard at work to make our dream day happen.

A Verulam Farm Wedding

  • Matt + Tara

There some venues that just take your breath away… Tara and Matt’s venue was one of those venues. From the moment we arrived, I was (like usual) getting nervous about all that we could accomplish here! The house, the driveways lined with trees changing colors and spectacular views were just amazing and I knew it was going to be the start of a beautiful day!! Matt and Tara went to CNU and so we have mutual friends that attended their wedding. We love these weddings! It’s such a win-win for us! We get to photograph a couple that we know AND we get to hangout with friends from school!! We love our job!! Throughout the day, there was a constant theme that seemed to float around conversations and toasts about the new Mr. and Mrs. Hayes.
