A Mini Posing Workshop

  • Workshop : Vegas Edition

going to think I’ve totally lost it when you see what I’m posting today! I’m blogging my mini Posing workshop from WPPI…. you know, the trip that we took back in MARCH! Yes, I’m finally blogging these images! If you know me and follow my blog, you know that I don’t normally have a problem with getting images posted quickly. I’m a consistent blogger and I keep up with my edits well. This is definitely an exception! I guess moving and packing and building a house really threw me off early this spring! While we were in Vegas attending WPPI, I hosted a mini Workshop Experience. It was only two hours of posing instructions but it was a TON of fun!

  • Taking a Break

I’ve shared this before… but as a small business owner, I have found that it’s really hard to STOP work. It’s never over, it’s never complete and it will never be 100% done. Growing a business can consume your life if you’re not careful! Michael and I, in my opinion, do a good job of not discussing “work” 24/7. That’s because WORK isn’t our LIFE… we have a life outside of our business and outside of the industry and that really helps us keep perspective. However, there are seasons that come and go when I feel like I just don’t have time off. During this past weekend and early this week, I felt this way.

  • 2012-2013 Coaching Reunion

ago I decided that I wanted to start offering coaching sessions. We wanted to offer something a little different than workshops for those that needed individual advice and coaching with their businesses. It was a HUGE success! I had NO idea how much need there was for something like this in the industry and it has been SUCH an honor to be able to build into the lives of so many photographers that are making it happen in the photography industry. This past Monday Michael and I hosted a COACHING REUNION for all the photographers that have done coaching sessions in the past year! We had over 25 people in our new home and I have to
