this before and I’ll say it again, bridals are a lot of fun!! No stress, no time limit…. it’s just me, my brides and their closest friend or family.  Blythe brought her mom and sister along for her shoot and I’m always so thankful to have another set of hands! We walked around the beautiful grounds of Tuckahoe Plantation and followed the golden light.  We had a beautiful day for this. The temperature was bearable, the sun was shining and we had the venue to ourselves! Blythe couldn’t have been more stunning and I’m so thankful she was willing to do some crazy things in her dress!!   • A Day at the Spa

so much about my brides being my friends and that’s really not a lot of fluff… its’ the truth. I’m so thankful that in this stage of my business, I attract brides that are very similar to me. We get along and we have fun together…. so naturally…I wanted to see them again! Their weddings are long gone and while a few still have to approve their album design, for the most part, our journey together is over. It’s actually kind of sad when you put it that way. :( I decided last year that I wanted to see my 2011 brides again and spoil them so we hosted a SPA DAY at the Red Door Spa here in Richmond.

days happen in a flash! You always hear that but you never understand it until it’s your own wedding day! All of a sudden, you’re being introduced at your own reception and you’re thinking “Wait! It’s almost over?!”. Our wedding was a blur…. a beautiful blur! And our wedding pictures help us remember how amazing that day was. However, even though we have fabulous images… what bride wouldn’t want to get dolled up again and spend an hour or so taking a few extra wedding portraits with her new husband?!
