A Winter Hampton Roads Wedding

  • Joseph + Melissa

Every year I have a winter wedding that I book and I think “Man! That’s so far away!”.  When Joe and Melissa booked back in the summer, December seemed so far off…. like it would never get here! Then fall came and that wasn’t the case anymore. Before I knew it, we were 2 weeks away and I was wondering where the month of December had gone!! Joe and Melissa tied the knot in Hampton, VA this past Saturday at Liberty Baptist Church. This is a random fact but my grandparents are members at Liberty and my mom and dad were actually married there many moons ago! A Year in Review

  • Best of Weddings 2013

So here is a MASSIVE wedding post! I have to admit, I’m HORRIBLE at narrowing down images. I really am. I cannot, for the life of me, pick one image from each wedding that I love the most. So what did I do? I blogged over 200 favorites today. Yikes! If the blog crashes, I understand why and I take full responsibility. This is what happens when you shoot 42 beautiful weddings in one year! Now some photographers did a big “best of” series! They posted the best dresses, best details, etc. I wish I could have done that but it would have taken forever!

January 2013

  • The Snapshot

is blogging about their 2013 goals…. welp…I’m just taking it one month at a time. One of my goals is to sit down with Michael and actually figure out my GOALS!! AS soon as I think about that stuff I immediately get overwhelmed. Next year is going to hold so many new adventures for the Alsop household. I’ll share about some of that later this week (And no, I’m not pregnant!). It seems like 25 is the magic age when everyone starts to ask and wonder when the babies are coming… welp… not any time soon!! Definitely not ready for that step!! However, we are so excited for this new year and all that it will hold for us as a couple and as a business.
