The DIY Victorian Garden Themed Wedding

  • Josh + Mandy

Ever since I met these two, I have loved them. Everyone loves them. When I’m asked to think of awesome couples in my life, I have a bunch that come to mind and Mandy and Josh are always in the mix.  They are just two amazing people and so as a couple, they are incredible.  I really hate having to try to explain how awesome my friends are in a matter of two or three paragraphs because it’s just not possible. No words can possibly describe the JOY and EXCITEMENT of their wedding this past Saturday.  I’ve been waiting for this day since I got the call from Josh that he was going to propose and he wanted me to hide out and photograph it! I knew this wedding was going to be one of my favorites,

  • His 26th

a very important day! …. Michael would tell you other wise because he’s never been one of those big “birthday people”.  I happen to be a “birthday person”. I love my birthday and I expect everyone else to love it too! I mean, aren’t we all allowed to love one day out of the year and claim it as OURS?! Birthday’s are fun! And they don’t happen very often and so I believe that they should be celebrated! Unfortunately, this year  Michael is going to have to celebrate while studying and taking a final exam.  Really? That’s just not fair. Bokeh and I will just have to have a party at home without him.

However, there is one aspect of this job that I didn’t consider and that was the fact that I was starting my business at the same time that a TON of my best friends were about to be engaged. For some reason, this never CLICKED with me.  I never thought “Oh if I could shoot a ton of FRIENDS weddings that would be a huge help for my business!
