Engagements | So What's the Big Deal?!

  • Wedding Wednesday

to think about, but only 5-7 years ago, engagement portraits were NOT what you see today!  If you’re working in the wedding industry or are a bride just getting started with your planning, I think it’s important to realize just HOW MUCH this industry has evolved in the last several years. It’s really transforming into something TOTALLY different than what it used to be! I’ve heard several people that aren’t associated with the industry say things like “What are ENGAGEMENT portraits? Giveaway

  • Templates for Photographers

ago I received an email from UPS saying that a package had been delivered. I don’t know about you but whenever I know a package is waiting at home… I get anxious! They turned out wonderfully!!! So since I’m in the “album mood”, I thought it may be nice

ever seen something that looks so old school and un-cool that you just decide to NOT give it a chance at ALL. You know what I mean…. like hole-in-wall restaurants or ghetto-fabulous boutiques? Sometimes the GREATEST things are in the nastiest places! Seriously! The last engagement session I posted was shot in one of the ROUGHEST areas of Richmond… but yet the locations were beautiful! So, as we approach this “Time Saver” post… keep this in mind. Photo Mechanic, in my opinion, doesn’t LOOK legit. I mean really, look at that logo!  When I was first introduced to PM, I thought to myself, I am NOT paying $150 for a program
