boards gives me the urge to plan ANOTHER wedding! Really, it’s so much fun. I think my 2nd dream job would be a high-end wedding planner with brides that would give me total creative control and an UNLIMITED budget!! Wouldn’t that be amazing?!! There are so many ideas and themes and color combinations out there these days. It used to be that you picked your colors, you picked florals and that was it. Done. Novinger, MO

best way to take a break and gain perspective is to stop thinking about yourself and spend some time helping others.  This past week was absolutely insane, in all the good ways. I left sunday afternoon and arrived in Novinger, Missouri at 2am on Monday morning.  The rest of the team, 71 teenagers and 21 adults, had been there since Saturday and they were ready to start helping the Novinger community. What you need to understand is that Novinger is a town of 534 people.  That’s it. We could walk from one end of the town to the other…. easily. The people of Novinger

So many people have emailed me about wanting to start their own photography business. They want to know where to start, what to purchase first, how to get clients they love and when they can charge more. WHEW! If I responded to all of those questions thoroughly, it would be a 10 page email!!   When I first started my business, I had no IDEA what I was getting myself into.  I knew that I loved design, I loved photography and I loved people.  Perfect! I’ll just create a business! ….. It’s not that easy. I’m afraid owning a small business requires a HUGE amount of responsibility and there are so many things I wish I had known when I first started out.
