little nervous before an engagement session. I’m just being honest! It needs to be fun and relaxed and enjoyable for the couple….. but I always have to get some “money shots”.  (If you’re new the to blog, a “Money Shot” is defined as: A shot that AWESOME, blog-worthy and worth big bucks!!)  So the pressure is on when I’m photographing an e-session but I love it. I really do. Kelsey and Dan are an incredible couple and I had heard that from mutual friends but after spending an evening with them, I got to experience their awesome-ness for myself! I love these two and I secretly wish I didn’t have to wait all summer for their wedding!

I can barely STAND it!!!!!! This has been a goal of mine for two years….yes, TWO YEARS. I remember talking to Jasmine and JD during our engagement session and the topic came up about having a promotional video. Changing it Up! | The Veil

that isn’t talked about very much but every bride has to make the “veil” decision! It’s a BIG deal and can really determine a bride’s overall “Look”! The fun part is that a bride can change it up if she wants! I wore two different veils on my wedding day and I LOVED it. I had a vintage (handmade) birdcage veil during our First Look and portraits.  Then we went to the church and I put on my longer veil to walk down the aisle. Because I switched veils I had two different “looks” and what bride doesn’t want to have two “looks”…. it’s like playing dress up!…. Only it’s for real!!!
