The Simple Christmas

  • Why We Didn't Decorate This Year

I love decorating. It’s like my favorite thing to do outside of photography but even sometimes I get tired of photography! I mean, I take A LOT of pictures these days!! :) Since I have a deep love for decorating, Christmas decor is non-negotiable! Well, that is until this year that is. I have every teal ornament known to man. Our Christmas Tree is usually decorated with a Peacock theme and it’s full of decor from our wedding. Our mantle is usually full of our stockings and our kitchen table is normally so full of glittery goodness that you can’t even eat at it!

A Different Kind of Speaking Event

  • Delight Retreat for Newly Engaged & Newlywed Women

We have REALLY exciting news!! We have had some amazing opportunities to speak over the course of the last 3 years but this is unlike anything we have ever done before. I have been PRAYING for a chance to pour into marriages and young women and this is such an answered prayer!! I am THRILLED to announce that we’re going to be a part of our very first DELIGHT Retreat!!! Ah!! All the way in the mountains of WASHINGTON!!

What I Would Tell the Old Me

  • The Rising Tide Society Startup Series

I remember starting my business in college and feeling like I could do anything. I thought I had time for everything! There was one weekend where I literally drove 2 hours to a retreat on Friday night and then left and drove 4 hours to shoot a wedding and then drove 4 hours back to the retreat only to be there for the send-off service Sunday morning and then we headed 2 hours back to campus. What. was. I. thinking?!!!!
