Dinner for Two Cookbook Review

  • A Home Made For Hosting

One of my FAVORITE parts of this job are the relationships we form with our couples! We love our KJ Brides and Grooms!! It’s fun to follow their journey even AFTER their wedding! Some have kids quickly, some move, some change careers, some buy houses and some do REALLY awesome things like write an amazing Cookbook and have a feature on the Food Network!! WHAT?! Julie is a past KJ Bride who has been running a super successful food blog for YEARS and it has turned into something amazing!!! I’m so so proud of her!

Fall, Friends & Four Wheelers

  • Our Camping Adventure | Fall 2015

After our triple header weekend in October, we left our third wedding and drove straight to Lexington. We went to Big Spring Farm and spent the night. We slept in, did a few things to prep the blog posts for that week and then we packed the car and went on an adventure! CAMPING!! My parents have had an RV since I was born. Pop-ups, Trailers, Class-C’s, Class A’s… we’ve tried them all! We went camping when we were growing up instead of renting beach houses or going to Disneyland and I wouldn’t have ever wanted it to be any different.

When you HAVE to raise your prices

  • Ask Anything

I’m not going to take up a ton of your time because I really just have one point to make! As photographers, we often struggle with pricing. I totally get it. I’ve struggled with pricing in the past too! I could write for days about this topic but today I really want to address ONE area of pricing. I have heard this story several times in the last few months and so I thought it was about time that I share my humble opinion!! This post is directed towards the photographers who are over half booked or are completely booked already for next year.
