Matthew + Cameron | Engaged

  • Pony Pasture Engagement Pictures | Richmond, Virginia

Cameron mentioned having her engagement session at Pony Pasture Park and I suddenly realized that I had NEVER been there! Am I even a true Richmonder?! I am always excited to photograph a new couple in a new location but this session was extra exciting because Cameron is a photographer herself! I knew that if she picked a location that there would be so many perfect spots to shoot and I was right! We met these two at Pony Pasture on the south-side of Richmond last week and loved our time together!

Michael + Michelle | Engaged

  • Carytown and Shockhoe Bottom Engagement Pictures

There was a heat advisory for the Richmond area on Thursday evening and normally, I would cancel the session. It’s really hard to enjoy being close to your fiancé when it’s 100+ degree outside with 80% humidity!! However, these two flew in and they are getting married this FALL! I knew that we needed to make this session happen and I emailed them to let them know that they may want to bring some extra water and sweat towels. Right after I sent that email, I remembered that they lived in TEXAS and that they were in the military. They were completely fine with a little heat advisory!!

  • James + Aimee | Engaged

always been really proud of the fact that Michael and I have been together for SO long. I mean, dating for 8 YEARS is impressive, right? I think so. We’ve been together since I was 15 and he was 17. So when I’m walking around with my couples during an engagement shoot and I ask them how long they’ve been together, I almost ALWAYS have them beat by at least 4 years… welp! Not this time! Nope. Aimee and James have broken the record. 12 YEARS! They have been dating for 12 years and they would win every “Long term dating” contest by a landslide!!
