72 Hours in Iceland

  • Weddings, Waterfalls, Worth It.

I’m sure some people are going to think this is craziness. It kind of is. Michael and I photographed a wedding in Roanoke, VA (no where near a big airport) and then flew out to Iceland the very next day. We got into Iceland at midnight and then started photographing Hayden and Geli’s wedding day the very next morning with Buddy and Jill! It was a rush but it was fun! Jill and I had sore feet but when you’re photographing a gorgeous bride with your best friends in the middle of ICELAND, you don’t worry about your feet!!!

Our Summer 2016 CA Trip

So this is what happened… ever since Emy and Joe got married, we talked about going on a trip together! Well, it’s been over two years and we still hadn’t done it! (shame on us!) So we planned a cruise with them for this August! We all LOVE cruises and how EASY and affordable they are. Well, fast forward to March and we find find out that Emy is pregnant!

  • Simplify and Travel With One Lens!!

I blogged about our trip to Hawaii and we started to get so many emails about ONE thing. You guessed it….. the resounding question was “WHAT LENSES DID YOU USE?!” Well there was once a day when I used to take MULTIPLE lenses on vacation and I am excited to announce that those days are over!! Yep! I’ve found my traveling soul-mate in lens form and it rocked my world in Hawaii!! The truth is, you don’t NEED to have all of your lenses… you just need to have the capabilities of all of your lenses! For example….
