The Girls

There’s nothing quite like freshman year of college. You’re on your own. You have the freedom to randomly go to ihop at 3am or make midnight trips to VA beach for no apparent reason. My freshman year was incredible. Not because of the random, spontaneous adventures but because of the friendships I made. I formed friendships that I know will last a lifetime. I remember wanting nothing more than to lay in bed with Steph and watch Grey’s til 3am (even though she ALWAYS fell asleep within the first 15 minutes!) I loved my time as a freshman. No responsibilities, no schedule, no plans. Doesn’t that sound nice? Oh it was nice and I miss it!

.

However, I LOVE getting to see Rachel and Jenna enjoy their freshman year. I love watching them interact and it makes me smile. I remember the days of laughing in the dorms til 3am at something any normal human being wouldn’t find funny or having sleepovers even when you live next door. I love seeing them laugh hysterically at each other and making time just to talk for a couple hours, just them. Their friendship is an incredible gift. They are both amazing girls and I can’t begin to explain how much I have loved being a part of their lives and watching them grow this year. They bless me more than they know.

.

Girls, I love you to death and I’m so impressed by you. Keep walking with the Lord and setting an incredible example with the way you love each other. People see you and they see Him and that’s awesome! Love you!!!
