  • And it's on SALE for a Limited Time!

Two years ago I finished a project that had taken me TWO YEARS to complete!! My goal was to create a Bridal Magazine for my brides to enjoy and to send this to them as their “Welcome Gift” right after they booked with us! Well, what I didn’t realize was that this Bridal Guide was going to become the single greatest piece of my entire Wedding Experience AND give me some of my life back!! All I was hoping for was a great gift for my couples and this 76-page magazine started to transform our wedding days in the most AMAZING ways possible!!!

You see, when you start showing your brides your work in magazine form… printed and in their hands… they WANT that. They want that glowy, dreamy bridal portrait while they are getting ready… they want to share that intimate private moment and receive 40% more portraits because they opted for a first look… they want to sneak out of their reception for 20 mins to have portraits in the BEST light of the entire day!! So why weren’t all of these amazing things happening BEFORE the bridal guide?! Well, they weren’t happening because I wasn’t educating my brides. I thought I was since I was blogging and sending out a MILLION emails… but the truth is, those only educated SOME of my brides. Nowadays, I have brides who don’t have time to read EVERY single blog post. I’m so VERY thankful for the ones who do, but until I sent a magazine to their doorstep filled with 76 pages of my work and tips for creating a photography-friendly wedding day, my bridal education wasn’t sinking in 100% of the time!!!

The KJ Bridal Guide was SUCH a success for my business and it changed so much about how my brides prepared for their day. Soon after my brides started receiving their bridal guides, I realized that if I experienced this much success with this magazine, maybe other photographers would like to transform their client experience too!! And that’s how the KJ Bridal Guide Template was formed!!! Now introducing…

The KJ Bridal Guide 2.0!!

Two years after creating the Bridal Guide, it was time for a makeover! My style had evolved and I had so much more information that I wanted to share!! So I tweaked and re-designed the majority of our template and we re-designed it to include the following NEW PAGES OF CONTENT!! :

– New welcome pages to introduce yourself to your new couple in detail!
– How to Prepare your Groom for the Engagement Session
– How to determine your Engagement Session Start Times Based on Different Seasons
– Family Formal Portrait Sample List
– Wedding Advice for Different Seasons
– Why You Should Trust Your Photographer’s Locations
– The Daddy/Daughter First Look
– Rainy Wedding Day Prep
– The “Controlled” Exit Explained
– Albums Promotional Page
– How to Use Your Online Gallery
– The Importance of the Bridal Bouquet
– Veil Options for Portraits
– First Look Expectation Management

Not only does the KJ Bridal Guide 2.0 include these new page of Bridal Education but it also now comes with :

– 4 Cover Design Options so that your magazine can be completely unique!
– Design tips throughout the template to help make your customization process fast and easy!
– Updated Instructional Guide to help you with printing & tweaking help!
– Access to a FREE Indesign Tutorial Video made by yours truly!

We’re often asked if this Bridal Guide would be beneficial for all types of wedding photographers and the best answer I can give is this… If you like what you see in our weddings and you wonder how we accomplish what we do, this would be an incredible resource for you because you would have the ability to educate your brides the same way we do!!! This Bridal Guide would be perfect for any photographer who is struggling with the following areas in their client experience:

– No couples are opting for the First Look.
– Your Bride and Groom don’t allow enough time for portraits.
– You have an abundance of Family Formals that take away the Romantic Portrait time.
– Your clients email you over and over again because you haven’t educated them.
– You don’t have a welcome gift that really blows them away or helps prepare them for what they just invested in!

The KJ Bridal Guide Template is being used by hundreds of photographers around the world and I absolutely love hearing their feedback!! However, I also love hearing feedback from our KJ BRIDES because the guide was created for them in the first place!!

The KJ Bridal Guide 2.0 includes 76 pages of pre-designed LAYOUTS and CONTENT that you can use! All we ask is that you change the images!! Because we aren’t just selling a template, we’re selling all of our BRIDAL EDUCATION along with it!

AHHH!! I’m so excited for this!! Last week one of the tasks we set with my business coach was to finally, finally finish my bridal guide that I purchased from you almost 1.5 years ago, and now with the new template I have a feeling it’s going to take me WAY less time. Gorgeous job, Katelyn! I can’t wait to see how this impacts my brides!

So excited for this Katelyn! On my To-Do list for the whole week! Has that email gone out yet for people who have already bought the template in the past? I checked my junk mail, etc and haven’t found it. But totally understand if the email blast hasn’t gone out yet! Thanks so much :) xx, Jessa

I love this so much! Bought it a few weeks ago and just finished customizing it with my own images and words. I went to print through magcloud and they require single pages, but the template is in spreads! I know how to separate the layout into single images but then pages with a full image that goes across the whole spread end up as one page with too much image and one blank page. How did you get around this? Thanks in advance!!

    • Katelyn James reply

Hi Carolyn, Please email me (katelyn@katelynjames.com) and include a screenshot of this problem… I’m not sure I fully understand the issue you’re having but we’ll definitely figure it out! :)

I love this! Just finished editing and am now getting ready to print and mail them out! Was curious, how do you package them to send out? Will they fit printed in an envelope or should I use a box (and where from???)
