which made for some awesome light! I was happy….we walked back to the car and I checked this one off as a success! We had fun, we out ran the rain and I had the chance to really get to know this sweet couple! Sara told me beforehand, during our rain conversations, that Dave was the biggest optimist! After hanging out with them for only a few minutes I realized this was so true… and he was also a sweetheart. He looks at Sara in a way that EVERY GIRL wishes she could be looked at! He adores her.
Sara explained that they met at a wedding…. and he asked her to dance. She reluctantly let him lead her onto the dance floor and to her surprise… he knew how to DANCE!! Like, REAL dancing… ya know, the type of real dancing where the guy takes the lead? She was impressed. They started dating and it wasn’t long before they just knew that this was it. Dave just kept saying “Ya know, it just made sense!”. I can totally see why. These two compliment each other so well and their love for one another is so evident in the way they interact (which is GREAT for pictures!!) I loved my time with them on Saturday and I feel so honored that I get to photograph their big day! It’s going to be gorgeous!! Dave and Sara, thank you for a fun afternoon!! I can’t WAIT to show you your images! Mrs. B, thank you for my sandwich and muffins… You know how to make a girl feel right at home!!!:) And a HUGE thanks to our driver! Yup, we were chauffeured around Georgetown and I wish I could make that mandatory for EVERY engagement session because it was AWESOME!! Enjoy my favorites!!
Dave proposed on the steps of the National Cathedral! So of course it was appropriate to start there!
Oh girl. I cannot WAIT to photograph you as a bride!!!
A favorite for sure!!
Georgetown has the BEST walls!!
We ended with a few at the Canal before the storm!
NICE!!! I’m so impressed with their modeling skills!
