I feel like that’s the moment when you realize that you’ve really done something right in the parenting world! Hearing your son or daughter say that he/she desires a marriage JUST like their parent’s is incredible! Wes and Lindsey ‘s appreciation for their parents is actually one of the reasons they fell for one another in the first place!

Wes and Lindsey have the sweetest personalities. They had every reason to be overwhelmed and frustrated with several things that weren’t going as planned on their wedding day… the main thing being the constant RAIN that moved their ceremony indoors. Their attitudes and grace on their big day were just amazing, and I’m so thankful that they didn’t let these little hiccups steal their joy!

They were married at Bluemont Vineyards and that view is just some kind of spectacular!! You can see for miles and miles from the property and thankfully, we had just enough of a clearing in the rain to get a few portraits taken with that overlook as the backdrop! It was gorgeous!!! Now Wes and Lindsey are on their amazing honeymoon in Hawaii, and I’m excited to share this post with them so that they can enjoy their wedding day all over again!!!

Well, as mother-of-the-groom, you will have to forgive my tendency to gush here! Katelyn, thank you so much for your comments in your blog. They captured the essence of the day and your amazing pictures chronicle the day so extremely well. You and Michael are a phenomenal team and you both were radiating joy, positivity, and a mastery of your craft throughout the day. Your smiles and those of family and friends brought the much-needed “sunshine”!
It will take me quite some time to come down from the clouds of this beautiful wedding-weekend! Kudos to Lindsey, the Mitchell family, Barbara Watts (celebrant) and the spectacular team of vendors that perfectly executed a superlative wedding!

Is that guy using your white shootthrough umbrella as a dance prop? GREAT job, friend! I know it must have been hard to leave miss Evy for the day, but you undoubtedly blessed the socks off of this couple by being there to document their wedding memories. And in case you were worried about being rusty, these photos are all so perfectly KJ- you’ve picked right up where your last season left off!
