  • Jason + Shannon

After meeting Jason and Shannon, I should NEVER complain about my workload. These two are SO busy with their jobs that they were traveling until 3 days before their wedding!! What?! How Shannon got everything together  and still remained so calm on her wedding day was beyond me! Super woman!!! I’m just in awe of her! Jason and Shannon are an incredible pair and their downtown Richmond wedding couldn’t have been better…. or more patriotic! Red, white and blue filled their day from beginning to end. We shot their portraits in a little area of Churchill and then we made our way to the church…. in the “To the Bottom and Back Bus”. Not even kidding. Cool right?!! Jason and Shannon planned their

wedding in a way that was 100% THEM…. and they had fun with it!!   And really, that’s all the matters! Shannon even shared that their rehearsal dinner was at Bottom’s Up Pizza! NICE!!! There’s nothing wrong with choosing to have a low-key, relaxed rehearsal dinner! (That’s coming from the girl who’s rehearsal dinner AND wedding was in her backyard!). I understand making a wedding your own and I love that Jason and Shannon did just that.

These two had an amazing day and perfect weather for shooting! It was ALMOST on the verge of “chilly” but it stayed a perfect 68 degrees and overcast!…..I was one happy photographer!! So Shannon and Jason, THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of your day! I’m so honored that I could be there!! Enjoy some of my favorites from your big day and enjoy that honeymoon!! xoxo

Apples have nothing to do with their theme…. but it was a fun idea and so I just went for it!
