As soon as I stepped foot into Dover Hall for Michael and Kendall’s wedding, I knew that it was going to be a great day!! I didn’t walk into their day thinking “Oh this is going to be in a magazine” because you really never know what will make it into a magazine! However, I did take a few shots of the bridesmaids portraits and thought “Oh my gosh!!! These are some of my favorite images EVER!!!”. I secretly hoped for a print feature but I didn’t hold my breath! Well it has been over a year since this gorgeous day and I’m so excited to announce that my wish did come true!!!!

The funny thing about writing a post about negative people is making sure I don’t sound negative when I’m writing it!! If there is one thing I’ve learned since becoming an adult and then starting a business it is that attitude is everything! I love this quote from one of Michael Hyatt’s blog posts: “Some people are relentlessly negative. It’s like they derive their significance from feeling wronged, put upon, and persecuted. You know what it’s like to be around people like this. Everyone is an idiot but them. Nobody can do anything right. Life is rigged……”

We spoke at my dad’s church about a year ago. We shared about our business but more importantly we shared our story about Michael leaving his job at our church in order to join me. That was such a hard season of our life because there was so much unknown. We didn’t know what God was trying to do. We didn’t know WHY we felt like Michael needed to join me and not be a youth pastor anymore…all we knew was that God was moving in our hearts and in our life and we were just trusting that He was going to do something with us!
