It’s like it didn’t even phase them!! :) I would check in with Sarah and say “How are you feeling? Do we need to go warm up?” and she would be totally fine and ready for more pictures! THAT’s my girl!!!
Sarah and Matt are incredible. They are both teachers and so they have such patience and composure… even when we’re flying through portraits before the rain sets in! I’m BEYOND thankful that these two shared a first look because that saved the day! We did almost ALL of their portraits before the rain came! YAY! The whole day was timed perfectly and worked in our favor and I can’t wait to share some of my favorites with you!
I can’t let you see them just yet because I need to tell you a few other things about Matt and Sarah first! There are several things that I have come to love about these two. 1. Matt can make anyone laugh… especially Sarah…. and this came in handy during portraits! 2. They are well-loved by their friends and family! :) 3. Band teachers have AWESOME bands at their reception…. like, a 20 PIECE BAND! Incredible! and 4. Matt and Sarah have such a sweet, genuine love for one another that was shown so perfectly throughout the day…. but especially during their first look. It was an HONOR to capture those sweet moments!!
Matt and Sarah we love you guys! We hope you’re WARM and enjoying the honeymoon!! It was such a privilege to be a part of your celebration and we consider you dear friends!!!
Warning! I went a little crazy on the detail shots! It had been 4 months since I had a chance to shoot details so there are ring shots galore!
GAH!!! What a dream ring!
The coordinates of where they were married! :)
oh Sarah, you’re stunning!!
The waterworks began before he even saw her!
Oh the joy!
Loved this shot!
Amanda Veronee…. you are the queen of large, lush bouquets!
This is the face you make when you hear a gunshot off in the distance during your wedding ceremony! ha! Priceless!
Michael wants credit for this…. as he should! :) Loved this ceremony shot!
Right before the rain hit!
These two SHOCKED everyone with their choreographed dance! It was intense!!
“Oohhh, A Mustache!!!”
My favorite picture!
And one last surprise for Matt!! A classic car for their exit!
